Hard to Believe: 327 posts and 787 comments
It’s hard to believe, but my first post on this site was 5/6/2013 and it was called The Spiritual Elk Encounter. I was told that a writer needed a platform, so readers could be introduced to his style of writing, and perhaps be coaxed into buying some of his work. But when I first started this little project, I had no idea it would last this long, and that I would have so many loyal readers. Unfortunately, I did not have any products to sell until September 25, 2013: Code Blue: A Doctor’s View of His Own Near Death, and that little piece of my soul has had about 150 reviews on Amazon and is averaging about 4.5 stars.
In the year 2013 —ancient history to some of you, my favorites are: The Spiritual Elk Encounter, My First love, 6/11/2013, and the start of my Home Alone series: Home Alone, I think, 7/1/2013. It seems no one knew me as an author back then; I didn’t start receiving comments by my readers until perhaps a year or two later. I thought I was writing to myself, but at least, I wasn’t talking to myself.
I wrote a few series along the way: Home Alone, She loves to/She likes to, Ellen The Elevator and most recently the Old Man Ollie.
I’ve published some novels since then: To Love with Hate, Inspired in the Bedroom-Nightly reads before During and After Romance, and of course, Blue Shadows.
Frankly, it has been time-consuming but it is worth it, because I think I have been able to touch my readers or at least entertain them, while at the same time, honing my skills as a writer. I do believe if you look at my work from 2013 to 2026, you may see some growth in how I write, and I hope my words have become more delicious to chew on, over time.
Thanks to my readers for well, reading them, and also commenting on them. I cherish your continued support, to keep me writing, so that maybe someday, my work can grow in popularity and touch others across the world.

Many thanks to that “loyal and subservient ink pen” of yours. I have enjoyed numerous mind vacations over the years by reading your stuff. You have taken me to Paris, to Kansas, to Indiana, to Memphis, to Catalina Island, to Arizona and to the bar to chat with Trump and Eastwood. “She” and I have become good friends. The infamous Ollie is near and dear to my heart. And thank you for introducing me to the zoo at your house. Your animal pictures and stories are endearing. Thank you for letting me have glimpses of Carson’s childhood past and all of the famous people you have met along your journey. And they have met you. Keep on writing Dr. Carson. The world needs to hear what you have to say and what Ollie has to say. You are definitely “Sui Generis”.
