Watch the Man Wearing the Golf Cap
His name is Dave Wottle. He was a U.S. 800-meter runner, who qualified to run in the 1972 Olympics. He was injured multiple times, including several weeks before the Olympics and did not feel his best at all. He was the slowest in the qualifying round as well. In fact, he was not even ranked with the top runners in the world. And he always wore a good luck golf cap to run.
Watch this old video clip/link. And if these difficult times get you down, I hope this provides you some inspiration not to give up, even if you feel you are dead last in your race of life.
