Your comments are right on and therefore, all correct.
My first screenplay draft I wrote today was about The Adventures of Ollie, the old man. I have to be careful with him though, because he is quite the interesting old dude. That’s because I’m also writing his novel, which will be much more detailed and will reveal much more about him, that will never be possible to reveal on a TV series. You see, the TV series will be entertainment only: an introduction to the white-haired mystery man. The novel will be, actually, the answer to everything you have wanted.
At the same time, my readers who comment are also correct. The “She loves…” will be a series of short screenplays also, and I designed them originally to be scenes written specifically for actresses and some actors who understand how to play the roles perfectly to capture the viewer completely. Now I just need to find some actresses mostly, to help me bring this to screen and into the hearts of not just those who love to read, but those who love to be entertained visually.
Those readers who follow my blog pieces can probably visualize what I have created with words and have already painted the scene on the canvas of their visual minds.
And yes, to those who were wondering, my word splashes on the computer were inspired by a nice cabernet, circulating its masseuse fingers on my newly inspired neurons.
By the way, what I am learning is that novels and screenplays are completely different art forms of course, and I am not sure which one I like the most at this time. Maybe I will just forget writing the Ollie novel and just write him as a screenplay. But nah, I don’t think so. He is too complex and needs a novel, because after all, didn’t Ollie ask Carson to write his book personally?
