I Knew Where Ollie Would Be
I remembered back in June, when he led me to the Alpine Haus bar with my concealed Glock, that I had a sixth sense, or what he said was a little more than a sixth sense, but it was obvious that I think, but finally I started to allow myself to feel. Time was running out for him, but he was going to finally give me a little to write about his story. But I didn’t really believe he would give me much at all, and that instead, he was training me to somehow, I guess, figure it out myself
Ollie rarely shows his hand on where he is or what he is doing, but I listened to what he said, and I began to feel now and somehow see what he meant. So, I let that energy flow through my soul when I was alone in that ocean kayak at the Hood Canal and I understood where I would find him, and I smiled: of course. I didn’t think, I just absorbed.
I knew he would be at church this Sunday, and that is where I found him, sitting in the third pew, two seats from the end of the third row, near the exits, as I expected. That white tornado hair is not hard to miss. That first seat he reserved with his bible was for me, and this was glaringly obvious.
“Good morning, Carson, I’m glad you could join me” – Matter of fact, like it was expected—just like a dog chasing a ball when you throw it.
I looked at him for a few seconds without a word, then smiled and said, “Thanks for inviting me. I needed this.”
“Yep.”
After the sermon was over and we had communion, we sat together as people filed outside to their cars lunch with their families, Ollie and I sat alone. A calm fluffy cloud of quiet. Staring straight ahead, saying nothing, but at peace with the tranquility. And then he said, “You are getting closer to understanding things Carson, and you need to realize that there are forces here in this country now, made up of elite people, some of whom are wealthy business people, aligned with no country or flag, who are bent on our destruction, while tricking us into passivity, while hoping to up-end the world order, against the dominant strength of our country. The process has been long going and it must be stopped.”
I looked at him, trying to chew on the enormity of his words, and then after a few more moments, I said, “is this what you mean by giving me information to write about, regarding your life Ollie?”
“Kind of. Yes. And no. You will help me do what’s right now, because it is within your soul now. We need to go to Washington D.C. soon.”
“We? Meaning You and I?”
“Do you see anyone else sitting here, Carson?”
I looked at him, not knowing any of the details, but yet, I felt a surge of peace within me. Then, without another word, we both rose up and started to leave the pew, and then, as we started to walk to the exits after greeting the pastor, he shocked me with:
“You know young Carson, Sketchers are not the only thing that can potentially beckon the astral plane to us, when we are ready.”
